YAMATA DOCS
THE UNIVERSAL TRADING ACCOUNT FOR MONAD
One account for onchain finance. Yamata connects your assets, Buying Power and trading opportunities across markets, with Monad at the centre of the experience.
Yamata - Frequently Asked Questions
01. The Universal Account
Yamata is a universal trading account for onchain finance.
It brings together the value of your crypto, prediction positions, tokenized assets and other supported holdings into one account, giving you Buying Power to trade across connected markets.
You can discover opportunities, trade spot, enter prediction markets, open perpetual positions and manage your portfolio through Yamata.
The funding, risk management and settlement work happens underneath.
Yamata is designed for both experienced DeFi traders and people who want a simpler way to access onchain markets.
Active traders can put existing portfolio value to work across different opportunities. Newer users get a familiar brokerage-like experience that brings markets, trading activity and their account together.
Sign in using the supported login options.
Yamata connects your identity to your trading account and associated wallets. From there, you can explore Discover, view your dashboard and access connected markets.
Yamata is the trading account above the markets.
Rather than creating another isolated liquidity venue, Yamata connects existing markets and execution infrastructure through one interface.
For the Monad application, Kuru provides spot execution and Perpl provides perpetuals. Yamata coordinates the account, Buying Power and financial state across those activities.
Monad is the central account and trading layer.
The Yamata account tracks cash, eligible collateral, available Buying Power, outstanding debt, order reservations and account health.
Assets can remain on their original networks, with supported collateral secured and verified through the appropriate source-chain arrangements.
Yamata is designed for a multichain asset universe, with Monad as the account layer.
The Metropolis implementation brings together prediction collateral from Polygon, asset collateral from Solana and trading execution on Monad.
The architecture is designed to expand across Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, Avalanche, Optimism and other supported networks as additional asset and settlement integrations become available.
02. Buying Power and Cross-Chain Collateral
Buying Power is the amount available for trading through your Yamata account.
It combines your available cash with credit supported by eligible assets, accounting for existing borrowing, orders and other commitments.
The dashboard keeps cash, collateral, debt and available trading capacity visible together.
When a supported trade requires more than your available cash.
Yamata follows a simple rule:
Cash first. Credit second.
For example, if you place a $100 spot order with $40 available cash, Yamata can automatically finance the remaining $60 using eligible credit.
You choose the trade and its size. Yamata coordinates the funding.
Yes.
Each eligible asset contributes its own risk-adjusted collateral value to the account.
A prediction position on Polygon, a crypto holding and a tokenized asset on Solana can each contribute to the same account's available credit.
Their values and risks are assessed independently, while their eligible contributions are combined into one account.
Collateral can remain on its source network while contributing value to Yamata.
Depending on the asset, Yamata may secure it in a source-chain vault or establish the required collateral control. Once confirmed, its eligible value can contribute automatically to the account.
Settlement liquidity is coordinated separately.
Yes, when the purchased asset qualifies as collateral.
For example, WETH acquired with available cash can contribute risk-adjusted collateral value after its purchase and ownership are confirmed.
Yamata also tracks how an asset was financed, so borrowing cannot create unlimited additional credit against the same capital.
No.
Unused credit is borrowing capacity, not an outstanding loan.
Debt arises when Yamata actually draws on credit to finance a supported transaction. Your dashboard then reflects the amount borrowed and the remaining capacity.
03. Liquidity, Funding and Cross-Chain Settlement
Yamata uses available account cash first, followed by supported collateral-backed credit.
The actual USDC needed to settle credit-funded trades comes from the account's funding and liquidity infrastructure.
This means collateral eligibility and available settlement liquidity work together to support execution.
Aurora Intents is integrated into Yamata's cross-chain USDC settlement infrastructure.
It enables Yamata to move native USDC from networks such as Base into its Monad account, supporting the liquidity needed for connected trading markets.
Yamata has completed a verified Base-to-Monad mainnet settlement through Aurora Intents.
Circle CCTP provides another way to transfer native USDC between supported blockchains.
Yamata uses CCTP as part of its settlement architecture, allowing liquidity to move between networks while the universal account coordinates trading and credit.
Circle Gateway supports a unified USDC balance across its supported networks.
It forms part of Yamata's broader liquidity infrastructure strategy, alongside CCTP and Aurora Intents.
Yamata's account layer determines trading capacity and financial obligations; the settlement infrastructure helps deliver liquidity to the networks where it is needed.
Yamata is designed to make trading feel fast and familiar.
Execution depends on the underlying market, available liquidity, network conditions and the transactions required.
The interface tracks orders through confirmation, with financial balances updated against verified execution results.
Yamata tracks the transaction and its associated funding commitment until the outcome can be reconciled.
This helps protect against duplicate orders, duplicated borrowing and inconsistent account balances.
You can review order status and transaction details within the account.
04. Collateral Assets
Yamata's collateral model is designed to support several asset classes:
- Cryptocurrencies
- Prediction-market positions
- Tokenized stocks and other tokenized assets
- Real-world assets
- Additional onchain financial positions
Collateral eligibility depends on the asset, available liquidity, custody arrangements and applicable risk parameters.
The eligible universe will expand as more integrations are introduced.
Prediction positions can hold meaningful economic value before the event they represent has resolved.
For example, a trader holding YES shares in a long-dated market may want to retain that exposure while pursuing another opportunity.
Yamata can evaluate the recoverable value of the position and assign eligible Buying Power against it.
Yamata considers the price at which the position could realistically be sold or recovered, rather than relying solely on its displayed market price.
The calculation takes account of liquidity, position size, slippage, market conditions and time remaining until resolution.
This is one of Yamata's central innovations: applying intelligent, market-specific underwriting to unusual onchain collateral.
Prediction positions behave differently as the event approaches its final outcome.
Yamata's risk engine can adjust available credit as the remaining time and market conditions change.
This allows credit limits to respond dynamically to the underlying position.
Yes, where the tokenized asset and its custody arrangements are supported.
Yamata's Metropolis showcase demonstrates Solana-based asset custody contributing eligible collateral value to the universal account.
The wider product roadmap includes additional tokenized equities and real-world assets.
05. Markets and Trading
The Monad application brings together three trading experiences:
Predictions: Explore outcome markets and buy supported positions.
Spot: Buy supported crypto assets through Yamata's trading interface.
Perpetuals: Open and manage supported leveraged positions.
All three connect to the broader Yamata account experience.
Yamata provides the Spot trading interface, while Kuru supplies the underlying execution infrastructure on Monad.
You select the asset, choose your order amount, review the price and confirm.
Once the trade executes, Yamata updates your cash, holdings, debt and available Buying Power.
Yamata integrates Perpl for perpetual-futures execution on Monad.
You select a supported market, review the margin requirement and trading exposure, and submit your order.
Open positions, margin usage and P&L are tracked alongside your other account activity.
Yes.
Yamata provides a prediction-market gallery and dedicated trading screens for supported outcome markets.
A confirmed eligible prediction position can also contribute collateral value to your universal account.
The market's resolution terms determine the winning outcome and applicable payout.
Yamata's collateral engine considers the time remaining until resolution when determining credit eligibility. Outstanding borrowing against a position must remain within the applicable account risk limits.
Yes. This is one of the central use cases for Yamata.
A supported prediction position can contribute eligible Buying Power to your account, which can then support trades in connected products, subject to their funding and risk requirements.
Yamata's broader roadmap includes direct options access, cross-market strategies and automated portfolio management.
These will expand the range of opportunities available through the universal account as the relevant integrations mature.
06. Discover, News and Copy Trading
Discover brings together market information, trading ideas and social activity.
You can explore news, follow traders, watch markets and find opportunities to act on through Yamata.
It is designed to make discovering a trade and executing it part of the same experience.
Yamata brings publisher-sourced market news into the Discover feed.
Articles include their source and publication details, with links to the original publisher.
Relevant markets and assets can be connected to news where Yamata has a suitable trading integration.
When you see a supported trade you want to follow, select Copy Trade.
Yamata opens the appropriate trading screen with the relevant market and order details prepared.
You can review the amount and execution terms before confirming the order through your own Yamata account.
Yes.
Discover includes trader profiles, following and market watchlists.
These help you personalise the opportunities and market activity appearing in your feed.
Yamata's wider social roadmap includes opt-in connections to X and other social platforms.
The goal is to help users discover familiar traders and relevant public trading activity while retaining control over their profiles and following preferences.
07. Risk, Debt and Account Protection
Each supported collateral asset has its own risk parameters.
Yamata evaluates relevant prices, executable liquidity, borrowing limits, concentration and market-specific characteristics.
The account uses these values to determine eligible credit and monitor its overall health.
Available credit can change as the value or recoverability of collateral changes.
Yamata updates account capacity and applies its risk controls, which can include restricting additional borrowing or requiring exposure to be reduced.
The dashboard provides a view of the account's current health.
Yamata reserves the required cash or credit when an order is submitted.
The account then reconciles those reservations against confirmed execution, borrowing and settlement results.
This prevents the same available capacity from being committed to multiple orders simultaneously.
Yamata accounts for the original funding of each position.
For the supported spot-collateral model, cash-funded assets can contribute eligible collateral value, while credit-funded holdings are treated separately to prevent recursive borrowing against the same capital.
When a financed position is sold or closed, applicable proceeds can repay the associated outstanding debt.
Any remaining surplus becomes available to the account after the relevant obligations and settlement requirements are satisfied.
Costs depend on the market, order type, financing terms and settlement route.
Relevant prices, trading costs and borrowing obligations should be available through the applicable trade and account details.
Yes. Crypto assets, prediction positions and leveraged products carry financial risk.
Market movements, changes in collateral value, execution costs and outstanding borrowing can affect account equity.
Yamata's risk controls are designed to manage exposure, while users remain responsible for the trading risks they choose to take.
08. Users, Progress and Roadmap
Yes.
The earlier yamata.pm production pilot allowed users to borrow against prediction-market positions and redeploy their capital on BNB Chain.
The controlled pilot reached its $30,000 lending supply cap on the first day, providing evidence of demand for prediction-backed credit.
Yamata's Metropolis implementation brings the universal trading account to Monad.
It combines account-level Buying Power and debt accounting, Kuru Spot execution, Perpl perpetuals, collateral sourced from Polygon and Solana, and cross-chain USDC settlement infrastructure.
The application also includes a consumer Dashboard, Discover feed, prediction gallery and trading terminals.
The roadmap centres on expanding the usefulness of the universal account.
Priorities include additional collateral assets, more trading markets, deeper social and Copy Trading experiences, cross-chain liquidity orchestration, options and advanced automated strategies.
Yamata will continue developing its consumer trading experience across web and mobile.
09. Monad Metropolis Showcase
The showcase follows one account through a connected trading journey:
- Sign in and view your account.
- Explore the Discover feed, news and trading activity.
- Copy a WETH trade and execute it through Spot.
- Buy a long-dated prediction position on Polygon.
- Add a Solana-based tokenized-asset development holding.
- Use available cash and collateral-backed credit to place another Spot trade.
- Open an ETH perpetual position.
- Return to the Dashboard to see assets, positions, debt and available Buying Power together.
The journey demonstrates how different market opportunities can be coordinated through one Yamata account.
Monad is the central trading and account layer.
Kuru supplies Spot execution.
Perpl supplies perpetual execution.
Polygon supplies the prediction-position collateral example.
Solana supplies the tokenized-asset custody example.
Aurora Intents and Circle CCTP form part of the cross-chain USDC settlement architecture.
The technical evidence includes public Polygon Amoy prediction transactions, Solana Devnet asset custody, Circle CCTP testnet settlement and a completed Aurora Intents settlement from Base Mainnet into a deployed Monad account.
Kuru and Perpl execution have also been verified against their deployed market contracts and state within a controlled Monad mainnet-fork environment.
The Solana stock example uses a simulated development asset.
Detailed transaction evidence is available through the project's technical documentation.
Aurora Intents is integrated into Yamata's settlement infrastructure, and its Base-to-Monad mainnet settlement has been independently verified.
The showcased Kuru and Perpl trades use the prepared Monad recording environment. The Aurora transfer is a separate demonstration of the settlement rail that can deliver USDC liquidity into Yamata's Monad account architecture.
